Unable to operate VR Headset in full resolution with focus. Probably due to DisplayPort connection to AMD integrated graphics instead of NVIDIA, to which only HDMI port is connected. VR Headset can only be connected via DisplayPort, see attached figure.

@Jirka_Z, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your VR Headset issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It appears your VR headset, specifically the HTC VIVE Pro 2, is unable to operate at full resolution and focus due to the current connection setup. This issue might be stemming from connecting your DisplayPort to the AMD integrated graphics instead of your NVIDIA graphics card, which only has an HDMI port connected. Below are some steps and recommendations to resolve this issue:
Verify DisplayPort Connection: Ensure that the DisplayPort from your VR headset is connected directly to the NVIDIA graphics card instead of the AMD integrated graphics. The headset requires a proper DisplayPort connection to achieve full resolution and focus.
Use DisplayPort Adapters:
- If your NVIDIA graphics card lacks sufficient DisplayPort connections, consider using adapters. The HP Reverb G2 setup guide suggests using the DisplayPort-to-Mini-DisplayPort adapter if a full-sized DisplayPort is unavailable.
- Avoid using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter as it will not provide the required functionality for the VR headset.
Check System Requirements:
- Ensure your system meets the basic requirements needed for the VR headset operation, including having the latest Windows 10 or Windows 11 update installed.
- Verify your system has at least an Intel® Core™ i5/i7 (8th generation or better) or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or better, and at least 8GB RAM.
- Your graphics card must support Direct X12; the current generation of mid-to-high end graphics cards should work.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
