I'm trying to install an NVIDIA firmware update. It just says it fails with no more details. I can't figure out where the log files are. I don't see any failures in the event viewer. This is an offline PC, so I have to manually download the files and move it to that machine to install. I tried running the -? to see if there was an option to create a log file, but I didn't see anything listed. I've had this trouble with other (non NVIDIA) firmware updates. Can someone point me in the right direction of where to find error logs? Also, I couldn't get this help form to let me change it. This is for a HP Z440 desktop.

Hello @ukcats270

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

Can you explain why you need NVIDIA firmware update ? HP does not offer this, so the problem could be solved in another way.

Kind regards

I typed a reply but it doesn't look like it went through. My apologies if it comes through twice. I have to update these for regulatory reasons. They do come from the HP site. I have similar issues with the NIC and processor firmware. I'll link the site below as well as a screen shot.

In your text you mention: HP Z440 desktop

You need support only for the HP Z440 desktop, right?

That's right. Actually it's the Z440 and Z4. I was having issues with the form and it wouldn't let me select the right product.
