ok, got the point...

 

This means I could forget to use any longer my Dell U2711 😞 - at least using with full resolution.

 

Completely with you regarding your opinion of HDMI and DP. Can't understand why brandnew ProBook 430 G4 has no DP port at all. 

And on top, if I take a look in the spec of the ProBook the USB-C port seems to not support external screens. It's a shame...

Yes the USB-C is apparently for charging only I looked into that, too.
