I've tried Tiergrade UCN3270 hub, and Utechsmart 11-in-one hub, both are USB-C hubs, and neither will connect desktop monitors for my new HP Pavilion x360 computer. Do i need a different hub, a driver download, or what? Any help would be most appreciated.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06917081
It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
You can connect ONE external monitor using HDMI port.

I have the same problem with my HP 250G 8 Notebook.
Could I perhaps use a USB to HDMI Converter like this to solve the problem and connect a second HDMI Monitor?
There are also some USB hubs sold specificly for a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type C port as host- could they work?
Thanks a lot
