Are putting your charger or other electrical appliance including smartphone which is used as a WiFi hotspot and that caused the screen to behave like that because of the electro magnetic and radio waves which disturbs the LED setup and if this not solve the problem let me know that it only occurs when you run your PC on ac power or every time including on battery and kindly check for chipsets and bios update from HP support/drivers.
Thank you.

Hi,

This is unfortunate. It should not be happening in a newly purchased notebook.

Do a hard reset: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

Is this issue there when you connect Lauri to external monitor?

Hi sir, thanks for the fast response. I will do the hard reset once i am home. May I know what is the reason for the screen become like this? And what if it still the same? Should I send it to repair? Also if you dont mind explain further "Is this issue there when you connect Lauri to external monitor" meaning. Thank you so much.

In the best case scenario, it may be just a voltage /power issue. Hard reset resolves by draining off charge from capacitors on board, it'll not erase anything from storage.

If the issue persist, then it is hardware problem i.e. either display panel or cable/connector, provided this distortion cannot not elicited on external monitor.

Send it for repair to certified HP technician, if issue persist: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Connecting to external monitor, means using HDMI to HDMI cable connect notebook to external screen:

And about what Mr Pranaykumar256 mentioned, I only realized that I have use Wifi hotspot from my smartphone and put it beside my laptop while using it....I didn't know by put my phone beside laptop can make my laptop screen turn like that since my old laptop had no problem with screen like this when using smartphone as WiFi hotspot. Thank you for make me realise this and I will aware not to keep my phone beside laptop again. Thank you. 🙂
