K4000 keyboard
Linux

I'd like to purchase this keyboard, but there's no indication that it works on a Linux operating system, specifically Ubuntu Xenial (16.04) .      I can't see any reason why it *wouldn't* work, but wanted to get confirmation before purchasing.

Thanks!

Hi,

I don't have this keyboard to test but my other beyboard (from Logitech) won't connect to some Bluetooth devices. It only connects to Windows, Android and iOS devices.

I believe many HP keyboards are also from Logitech.

Regards.

Hi,

From the following specs

    http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-k4000-bluetooth-keyboard-p-e5j21aa-abl--1

It is  "Bluetooth capable; Android 3.0 and later; Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8 "

Regards.

Thanks $banhien, i did see that sentence, but I'm not sure that I can infer from the sentence that it will run on Linux Bluetooth.       If it could run on any bluetooth, why specify Windows and Android in particular?    Or maybe your answer was telling me, no it doesn't run on Linux.
