Hello,

First time posting!

I have a Samsung smart TV that has mirror display functioning. I also have an S6 smart phone that connects seamlessly to my tv. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect my notebook. I've followed the directions to use screen projecting and it finds the tv. I click the found device and it says its connected but all the TV shows is 'loading' on the top corner.

Like I said the phone works so I know the TV works. Is there something I am doing wrong while trying to connect the TV.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi @stu70,

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with connecting the computer to your TV. I will be glad to help you.

You can connect the computer the TV with an HDMI cable. In the  display setting, you can mirror or extend the screen.

Here is a website I found on what you are tried to do. Hope it helps.
