Just signed up so I could thank you guys.
If it wasnt for people like you, I would now be stuck with two x360 4k laptops with egg shells for screens facing nothing but grief trying to get them fixed!
Hope you resolve your issues.
Any recommendations for an ultra class laptop with 4k screen and able to drive a 4k external screen?
(Not hp of course!)

At first I had thought that I was the only one to have experienced the faulty screen crack, and as a loyal HP customer I had never experienced this problem before with my many other HP laptops. Not only did the screen on my laptop crack mysteriously while in my laptop backpack, but the touch screen capabilities immediately began malfunctioning. So now not only do I have a laptop that doesnt have an intact screen, but also cannot be used as a tablet which is the whole point of the 360 degree rotating hinges and touch screen on the laptop. Very disappointed and I do not forsee paying $500 to have this fixed when I am definitely not at fault. For a $1,000 laptop, buying a Mac might be the better option next time...
