@Kelkar

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand you want to use the HDMI Input to connect a dish TV to the laptop,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you check the product specifications of this PC?

(Click here to check, if you haven't done that yet)

That said, I'm afraid HP laptop does not go with an HDMI Input,

They only come with HDMI output, hence I'm afraid you cannot utilize any options as such, however, if watching live TV is what you are interested in, you could try an external USB TV Tuner card and the same can be used to watch TV on the laptop instead.

Also, HP doesn't deal with TV Tuner cards as such, hence you may have to get one locally at your own discretion,

If I have helped you resolve the issue,

Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon

Followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'

And Have a great day ahead!
