HP Pav11t-n000 x360 a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pav11t-n000 x360 and the hid-compliant touchscreen driver for that has disappeared since the last windows update. It's not a hidden device, it's gone. Where do I go to download the driver I need?

Thanks!

I've been to that page many times and the driver I need is not there. It keeps saying in my system I dont have a touch screen driver, when that is just a lie since I've had it working since i bought the PC in 2014. I just need a link to redownload the HID compliant driver for touchscreen.

Hi

A possibily is that it is in the W8.x list, or is a part of the recovery option.

Is there a restore point on the system prior to the update?

Was the original OS W8.1?

I think it was 8.1 when I got the PC (it is 4 years old) but there was an automatic Microsoft update in December so I didn't make a restore point. Do you know how to find potential automatic restore points that are old? Also, I'm not seeing the HID-compliant Touchscreen driver on the 8.1 list.

Thanks for your help, it's a bit of a conundrum!

Hi

IF you do an F11 restore to Factory Fresh, the laptop will be as day 1, LOSING all your data in the process.

But it will rebuild and restore so that the Touch Screen is working again.

Is there a C:\ listing Windows.old or any similar variant?  There are hidden directories.

C:\$SysReset\OldOS  in my case.

OR Piriform Ccleaner   TOOLS - System Restore - may find them.

CLI as an administrator and Type msinfo32?

This did not work for me. I've done factory reset at least 4 time. Still no touchscreen.
