The mousepad on my HP 4520s laptop became locked. I tried the "double click the top left corner of the mousepad" about 1000 times and hasn't unlocked. Is there a way I can somehow unlock it through the control panel or some other setting on a windows 8 platform? Thanks.

I have an Envy X2 and ofter when I open the top from a sleep the screen comes on and everything works except the Touch Pad. The only way I can get it back is to remove the screen/tablet, wait about 1 minute then reconnect the it. Many times this will return the Touch Pad to a working condition other times I have to reboot the laptop/tablet.

 

Do you have any clue as to how to fix this? I have reinstalled and updated the drivers several times but it still happens.

I did the same thing. I turned off the touch pad somehow. Double clicking on the left corner isn't working to turn it on. Is there another option? Please help!

How can activate touchpad gestuers in my hp 450laptop.
