I am always brushing the touchpad when I'm typing which causes the cursor to jump. Is there an easy way to disable/enable the touchpad? (or is it called a clickpad on my model?).

You can get into Mouse settings and disable/enable but that wont be a quick thing to do.
From start type 'mouse' and choose mouse from search results. Click on TOuchpad/Luxpad tab and you will find a radio button to do so.

Double tap on top left corner of the touchpad to enable/disable.
Few units have a button at the bottom of touch pad to enable/disable.

Hard to say. Likely due to the tablet design nature of the notebook, but I can't say for certain as I'm only technical support. I have no information regarding updates. There might be some third party utilities out there that will work for you. Some I'm aware of are Touchpad Blocker and TouchFreeze.
Try this 🙂

I went to that site and and changed the sensitivity of the touchpad to the far right of the slider but it still hasn't helped. I'm sure I clicked the "apply" I didn't see a place to disable? I'll give that a shot later because, unfortunately, I can't sty online right now. I will come back and try looking for disable option again. Is this a help suggestion for my notebook? So many suggestions I've tried don't seem to work for my Spectre 360-12-4101dx.
