Last thing you may consider is going back to previous Windows.

Hi @sudharshancs,

Welcome to the HP Forums! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums, I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I have read your post and wanted to help. I understand that you cannot adjust the brightness settings after upgrading to Windows 10.

In the Display settings, there is an adjusting bar which can change the brightness.

Change screen brightness

Hi @sudharshancs,

Have you installed all the Windows Updates? If yes, it may be the graphic driver not compatible with Windows 10. Please try uninstall the graphic driver in Device Manager, and click Action on the top of the windows. Select Scan for hardware change to let the windows install a graphic driver for your laptop. Restart the laptop to test the brightness adjusting again.
