just updated to 1709 and now the touch screen does not work , worked fine before update, help

I do not have the HP Recovery in windows, - i had to conduct a full windows restore.

any recommendations?

i have a recovery thumbdrive i made, but nothing on this PC under recovery.

If your product is Out of warranty, then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.

They might have multiple options to help you on this.
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.

Found the file needed to update the touch screen

Intel Serial IO Driver its sp72332

use this for the HP Convertible x360 P1F14UA#ABA

next time an update is applied and you loose the touch screen functionality.

i could have sworn i downloaded and installed this driver multiple times.  it even asked if i wanted to overrrite the folder that was already on the C:\swsetup\SP72332

weird ...
