Hello,

I trust you’re well.

I purchased my laptop just over 2 years ago. After about 6 months little black dots started to appear all over the screen. These dots would always stay black regardless. I contacted the retailer who replaced the screen, or some internal component,  as it was still under guarantee.  All was good but about 6 months later the same thing happened again, but worse!  Again, the retailer replaced the internal components as it was still under warranty.

I asked for them to replace the laptop as I said it’s  pretty much had these recurring problems since it was new. If you buy a new, expensive laptop, you shouldn’t have these problems. Anyway they refused and just fixed the problem.

Now, 6 months later the problem has reappeared but the dots are all different colours and a lot bigger than ever before. It’s pretty much impossible to do anything. I’ve contacted the retailer but they told me to contact HP as the guarantee / warranty has expired.

The laptop is just over two years old and is as quick as ever, but these dots keep appearing more and more and once they appear, they never go away. I didn’t pay all that money for what I see as a faulty laptop that lasted barely two years.

please can someone help me?

many thanks
