Greetings,
While trying to install the softwares and drivers after the clean install of windows 10 on the new laptop, we discovered that on the website there is no option other than windows 11 for the product: omen 17 ck1007nq. I had to download and install manually each one of the drivers and when trying to install the drivers for the touchpad, we encountered the warning error: the driver is not supported on this OS version(10.0.19045).
It there no option to install these and other drivers for windows 10 or is this OMEN laptop not compatible with older versions of windows?
Thank you.

Hi:
HP only supports your notebook for W11.
That is why you don't find any W10 drivers on the support page.
I checked the previous model 17-ck0000 model series and while that model has W10 drivers, there are no touchpad drivers for W10.
If your notebook came with FreeDOS, under the circumstances instead of fighting a losing battle trying to get W10 to work correctly, take the free upgrade to W11 by clicking on the blue W11 Installation assistant button at the link below (first option) and upgrade to W11.
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
Then you can install the W11 drivers from your notebook's support page.
