Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169X0AV)

HP Envy x360 Convertible 15-ed1003ca.  I replaced the screen assembly, purchased on the open market (including the top metal cover), with one of the exact part number as the original.  This was due to the left hinge breaking out of their plastic mounts and breaking the screen; (thanks HP for looking forward to such an excellent hinge design). Carefully replaced both wiring connectors in their proper plug-ins.  After testing all functions of the new screen, everything works except touch scrolling.  Not a big deal to me, but scrolling should work.  Any suggestions?
