Trying to connect Pavilion 15-eh00050wm to external display monitor. I have a total of 8 ports 5 on the left side and
3 on the right side. My monitor has a ac power plug of it's own and another that plugs into the laptop. I was told these
ports are as follows but I'am not positive. The 5 on the left from the back to the front are, 1- HDMI type 2, 1- super speed
5gbs-usb-a, 1-super speed 10gbs usb-c, 1-multi format media reader and 1- headphone . On the right from back to front I was told the 3 ports are,1- ac smart charge pin, a 2nd- super speed 5gbs usb-a and 1- unmarked small square port.
Which port is the correct input for the display monitor. Thanks for any help provided

You can use HDMI port to connect to an external monitor
