That's the weird thing... when I got the problem I left the laptop outside at -8ºC.... the computer was cold as my ex girlfriend heart. But the problem persisted.
Even tho is true that the computer overheated sometimes while charging and suspended, I wouldn't say the problem was related to temperature. Because before that the computer REALLY overheated (in summer) without any issues apart from temperature. I'd say the problem was with the behaviour of some components under just those Circumstances (charging/sleeping) both in combination or individually related.
Now, like you said, the problem with temperatures while charging was apparently also gone.... I'll have to wait until summer and try again.
