5G Network not displayed in Network list in Laptop

I upgraded my WiFi to 5G but 5G Network is not displayed in my Laptop.  Driver available in my HP Laptop is Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCIe Adapter.

Is there any link to upgrade the driver to support 5G Network ?

Kindly suggest.

Hi:

The Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCIe Adapter and only works on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.

No driver update will fix that.

You would have to replace the Wi-Fi card with this model...

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express. 

I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.

Or you can purchase a USB dual band Wi-Fi adapter.
