Hey,
Could you help at all? I've recently bought an HP Elitebook G6 840, i7, 16GB Ram, 256GB (2020 model) and it has the sim card slot - I researched online and found the manual with a list of 3 WWAN cards that are compatible. I bought one, installed it and when I load the bios I can see it and tick it.
When I boot into windows 11, check device manager - there isn't anything there for WWAN.
I bought the Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (CAT 9) (L15398-002) with the genuine part number to make sure it was right for my laptop.
Am I missing something?

Sounds like one thing is missing. Please download its driver from the following link and install to your machine

Regards.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion - I've already downloaded and installed the driver however I've just re-downloaded it and installed it. Turned it off and back on but no difference.
Shouldn't it be showing up in the Device Manager but with an exclamation mark or something?
No idea why it isn't showing up 😞
I have just looked under software components in DM - and found HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching and Hotkey Service but when I press the wifi button it just seems to turn the airplane mode on and off, rather than switching devices.
