HP Notebook Product P1A95UA#ABA Model 15-af131dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to pair a FitBit fitness tracker with this computer.  When I go to Device Manager, no Bluetooth is listed.  I've installed the latest Windows updates but still no Bluetooth listed.  Is there a spot to download and install the driver?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi:

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it does not come with built in bluetooth networking hardware, or that feature would have been listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN wireless connectivity specification.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04797004

You have two options...

Purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.  I use this one in a couple of my HP desktop PC's.

https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-USB-Bluetooth-4-0-Compatible/dp/B007Q45EF4

Replace the internal Realtek RTL8188EE wifi card with the Realtek RTL8821CE dual band AC wifi/bluetooth adapter.

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay or the HP parts store.

https://parts.hp.com/Hpparts/Default.aspx?mscssid=B7F81E75027444B2B1A49B3C33983D53&cc=US&lang=EN&jum...

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8188EE wifi card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.  Plus it will have Bluetooth.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure...

You can use this bluetooth driver for that model wifi card...
