This problem started about a week ago
I have 2 wifi networks and an extender for each in my house. A week ago I could log into any one of them for internet.
Now I can connect to network 1 and 1e (extender) with internet
I can connect to the wifi on both 2 and 2e, but with no internet. I get "No internet, secured" with the yellow triangle.
My mobile devices and other laptop can connect to the internet on all networks with no issues.
It's just this laptop that started not being able to use network 2 and 2e.
I've reset the router and extender, although since the other devices can connect, I know they are fine.
I've done the troubleshooter, as well as all the steps in the HP support (reset bios, network adaptor, etc) but since I can access 1 and 1e, didn't think it would help, and it didn't.
Why can't my laptop access the interet on just this one network, and how do I fix it?
Thanks

If the laptop can connect to the wifi and the internet through one of the networks then there is nothing wrong with the laptop hardware.
In order to troubleshoot this we would just about need a network map to see how you have the two networks configured. I am assuming they both go out to the internet through the same portal; a cable modem or something like that?
This is literally 2 different wireless networks with different IP ranges configured from 2 different routers? When you connect to network 2, the one on which you get no internet have you tried to do an ipconfig /all from the command prompt to see if you are getting an IP address and what gateway it is trying to use to access internet and what it is using for DNS translation?
Just for giggles what happens if you turn off the power to router 1 to take it out of the picture and see if you can connect with just router 2 active?

I have unplugged router 1 and get the same results on network 2. While I have 1 unplugged, 3 other devices can successfully acces wifi/internet on network 2 and 2e.
I have made no configurations to my laptop. It just stopped connecting to 2 and 2e one day.
When I run ipcofig/all on the newtork that works, under Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : rga.ip
Under the connection that does not work:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Looks like a DNS Suffix is missing?

How do you have DNS configured on router 2? I guess it should not matter if other devices can connect to the internet but it might help to put in a manual DNS server address such as the google DNS server 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
I want to be clear...it is not abnormal to have the dns suffix blank so it is unlikely that is really the problem.
I assume since you don't mention it that you are being assigned an IP address by router 2.

Yes but sometimes the ISP will push through a firmware upgrade or other change to the modem that will affect how it acts with a downstream router...running 2 different networks inside the gateway runs a risk of what they call "Double NAT"ing and maybe your ISP has implemented something to prevent that...not very confident in that because if true your other devices would not connect. Also might be something involving a driver update for your wireless card inside the laptop...grasping at straws here for a solution/explanation. Are you using the 5ghz band with either router? Maybe 2.4 ghz devices are working and the problem is with 5 ghz. If you don't try some troubleshooting and experiment with some alternate configurations obviously nothing is going to change.

I've used the HP Support Assistant and no new updates are available for the wireless card. Both routers are 2.4 ghz.
I've done all the troubleshooting solutions I could find via Google and HP Support. I am hoping there is someone in the community who has gone through this and has a solution
I don't know what alternate configurations I could try.
Thanks for trying!

I have kept with you and am willing to help. There is no magic bullet for network configuration issues which is exactly what this is. The odds that somebody else has had exactly your issue is hard to quantify because it is not yet clear exactly how you are set up. I asked early on what you use for internet....cable modem? Also would help to know the model of the two routers you are using. Are you going direct into the gateway or is there a hub or switch in the mix somewhere?
Do you know how to open the little website built into each router that allows configuration monitoring and changes?
Generally you open a browser and type in the IP address of the router. I also asked if you are getting an IP address provided by each router as shown by ipconfig /all?
