What do you mean won't connect ? Does it see your network SSID ? Your machine is an 2000-2b19WM, its specs

It only has 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN (part # 675794-001) that means it can't see 5.0GHz networks. You have to allow your wifi router to broadcast dual bands.
