Thanks again for the reply, but it seems the link you provied for HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS is not working at the location of http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02693833. I am just getting a blank screen. Can you please provide a new link with this information?

Well I reset the bios and that didnt work either. So I guess I am buying a new wireless card now. Where do I go to purchase the wireless cards you have recommeded? I went to newegg.co but they were not available there. Can I order through HP directly?

Hello @Justasking4help,
You are able to purchase parts from the HP Part Surfer and other trustworthy websites, use the part numbers from page 86 in the maintenance and service guide from my previous post.
Please click “Accept as Solution ” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

So I replaced my wifi adapter with a new one, and thus far this seems to be working like it is suppose to again. Thanks for the help. I couldnt have figured this out with you.
I would add...it would be good if HP created a video about how to get the HP Havilion open to replace interior parts. It was not an easy venture to get this model open as the entire case is joined together. Thankfully I found some guy that made one, but there were several other steps that he didn't complete that I had to do to get it opened to make the replacement.
Otherwise, thanks again.
