You're very welcome.
Since I don't work for or represent HP, I don't exactly know what the warranty terms would be.
Generally, you won't void the warranty as long as you don't break anything in the process of installing hardware.
Here is the replacement wifi card I recommend for your notebook...
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported)
HP Part # L17365-005.
Unfortunately, the card has been on back order from HP for months now.
However, you can find one for sale on eBay. Pick a seller that ships to your country.

Here is the link to the service manual. The wifi card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.

I recommend you get a set of notebook pry tools to help separate the plastic parts.
That will help you from scratching and/or marring the plastic.

Hi:
No, it doesn't.
Anytime you see a wifi N adapter with a suffix that ends in b/g/n, that means it is a single band (2.4 GHz only) wifi adapter.
Dual band wifi N adapters have suffixes that end in a/b/g/n or a/g/n.
If you want to replace the single band wifi card with a dual band one, let me know and I will give you a recommended replacement.
