Hi, @simoncarne
As Banhien replied yesterday, your notebook comes with a Realtek RTL8821CE AC Wi-Fi adapter.
That is a Wi-Fi 5 wireless adapter, and you cannot simply download a driver to give it Wi-Fi 6 capability.
You have to open up the notebook and physically replace the Realtek RTL8821CE adapter with a Wi-Fi 6 adapter.
The problem is your notebook only has one antenna wire connected to the Realtek RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter and any Wi-Fi 6 adapter would require two antenna wires.
To add a second Wi-Fi antenna would require an extensive disassembly of the notebook including the display panel to properly run the second antenna wire.
Plus, in addition to purchasing a supported Wi-Fi 6 adapter, you would also need to order the antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual.

HP did not offer any Wi-Fi 6 adapters for your notebook's model series.
If you want to go through all that work to make your notebook Wi-Fi 6 capable, this Wi-Fi adapter may work.

Its specs

It has Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11b/g/n/ac (1x1) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo wifi adapter which is not a wif6 adapter. Did you replace it yourself ? What is it ?
Regards.

@Paul-Tikkanen
Many thanks for explaining that to me.
Before writing on here, I was told by my internet provider that I simply needed a different driver to make the laptop compatible with Wifi-6. As a result, it hadn't occurred to me that different hardware would (also) be required.
Kind regards
