My HP Bluetooth mouse will no longer connect no my HP Envy 15.

I have tried deleting it and re-installing but it is not being recognised.

I am unsure whether this is due to the update to Windows 10 as it stopped working after the latest release.

The batteries are fine and it still trying to connect but it is still unable to find the mouse?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi @Bella12,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the wireless mouse is not working.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the mouse was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Meanwhile, I recommend you replace the batteries in the mouse and check if that resolves the problem.

Thankyou for your response.  I had new batteries in my mouse. It seemed to have been from the latest update to windows 10, whenit lost the connection.  I tried for hours to get the mouse to reconnect to no avail.

I closed down my laptop and tried again and it connected immediately.

Many thanks for your response.
