@GlenSP

What is your Spectre x360 ? Please check with Telstra, do they support  HP Lt4132 LTE/HSPA+ ? I know Telstra only supports a number of cards, similar to contract plans. Please also check with them: does your SIM card support BYO phones and/or WWAN cards.

Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Regards.

Hi this model is Hp Elitebook Spectre x360 1030 G2. Telstra tells me they are supported and access codes are active.

Hi, does anyone have any info why this would not be working? other similar adapters have been working fine in our other laptops.

None of the drivers on the HP Support site for Elitebook 1040 G1 work with the WWAN module in this laptop.  Based on a tip I got from Microsoft Technet, and another HP forum post for a different model computer, I found the driver on the driver site for the Zbook 15 G1.

Bottom line is the Microsoft driver that automatically installs when you install Windows 10 does not work.  None of the drivers for the HP EliteBook 1040 G1 on the HP support site work either.  HP needs to add the lt4111 driver for Windows 10 to the support site.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  We have made a change and the Sierra Wireless HP lt4111 Gobi 4G Drivers for Windows 10 are now available for the EliteBook 1040 G1.

Hey Joel,

Did you ever get your problem solved (obviously not from this community)? I'm having the same problem with my x360 1030 G2.  HP Lt4132 LTE/HSPA+ 4G module was working perfectly with Telstra 4G then sudden I can't get an internet connection. Telstra says no changes on there end (in fact I connect to the Telstra network just fine just no internet connectivity).

If you solved your problem I'd love to hear how as I rely on 4G connectivity quite heavily (in fact it is one of the main reasons I bought this computer).

Hi, My issue was the antenna appeared to be clicked in but was just out by the tiniest bit. Mine would see Telstra but not register. I hope this helps.

Thanks for getting back to me, Glen. I finally found the problem...oddly, it was because of an HP docking station which had an ethernet connection directly to my NAS drive. Go figure!

Cheers,

Jeff.
