HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently bought my Pavilion, but it doesn't show my 5ghz Wifi netwerk. (Only 2.4)

The laptop is new and I bought it in a store.

The laptop has a Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCle adapter. All drivers are updated.

I removed the adapter in the Windows device manager and installed it again, but no change.

What can I do?

Hi:

I am looking at the drivers on your notebook's support page, and the latest one shown for the Realtek wifi adapter is 2024.0.10.214.

Realtek is up to version 2024.0.10.223 now, so the only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the wifi driver to the newest version, and see if that resolves the problem.

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8188EE, RTL8723BE, RTL8723DE, RTL8821CE, RTL8822BE, RTL8822CE, and RTL8852AE wireless LAN Controller in the supported computer models running a supported Windows 10 or Windows 10 Cloud operating system.

Thanks! That worked. Strange that HP thinks it has the most recent driver updates when it doesn't. But I'm happy! So much more speed!
