Microsoft Windows 11

I've got a HP ProBook 455 G7 that I've had for a number of years, and the Realtek Bluetooth adapter has never worked for more than one reboot.  This problem has existed since the laptop was originally purchased.

After I reboot, it fails and Device Manager shows the error message "Windows cannot start this hardware because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damage (code 19)".

Is there anyway to get this resolved?  I've tried all kinds of things (cleaning up the registry information for the Device Driver Class ID, using polices to prevent updating the of the driver, etc.) and nothing seems to work.

Alternatively, would it be possible to replace the realtek Wifi/Bluetooth M.2 card with a different one that might actually work.

See if installing the latest Realtek Bluetooth driver resolves the problem:

OPERATING SYSTEM(S):

Microsoft Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 version 21H2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 version 22H2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 version 23H2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 version 24H2 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 version 25H2 (64-bit)

Provides the following drivers:

8852AE/8852BE/8852CE/8851BE, version 18.4017.2412.2303

8821CE/8822BE/8822CE/8723DE, version 1.10.1072.3000

8852BE-VT, version 18.4019.2412.2303

sp157134.exe

If that doesn't work, you should be able to install this model wifi adapter:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 + Bluetooth 5.0 (non-vPro)   HP part # L35282-002

Alternative part number:

HP part # L35282-005.
