HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The notebook is a 2020 version of HP Spectre x360, and I think the issue has to do with Modern Standby (i.e. the notebook staying connected to the network while it is asleep), but I have no idea how to fix it.

When waking from sleep (or after rebooting), the notebook is often (but not always) disconnected from my wifi network. Disconnecting and re-connecting again, or re-starting the WLAN AutoConfig service fixes the issue, but I wish I didn't have to do this so often.

Any ideas anyone?

Great, thank you so much!!!

These drivers are newer than what was offered to me automatically via the Windows Device Manager or the HP Support Assistant.

I installed the drivers and will let you know if that has solved my problem.

The drivers update seems to have solved my problem for now, thank you very much!

Thanks and I am marking this problem solved.

After testing it at home as well I have to say that, although the connection has improved a lot after the driver update, the issue is still not 100% gone. 😞

In this case, you may need to update the firmware of the wireless router or replace a wireless router that supports WiFi 6.

Thanks! Should I expect Wifi 6 to provide a more stable connection than earlier standards?
