Good evening,

I have tried every way possible to dowload and update the systems with the drives. I believe I have done it all. My only problem is that I cannot keep a connection for  more than 15 minutes. I work from home and at a complete loss of why my internet disconnects and reconnects so often. And I am using an ethernet cable, CAT7. Please help!!!

I understand that you need assistance with the internet connection dropping randomly on your HP Product. Don't worry I’ll be glad to assist you with this.

 

We need to isolate it to being hardware or software related first.

For better clarity, I would require more information regarding this.

  • What is the product number of your HP computer? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
  • When did this first begin?
  • Did it happen after a software or windows update?
  • Are you not facing this slow speed issue on other devices? such as laptops, phone.
  • Do you receive any error message or code?
  • Have you tried to update the drivers either using Windows update or using HP Support Assistant.
  • Did you try to update the Bios on your PC? Most of the times updating the Bios does help in resolving these sorts of issues.

Could you please respond to this post with the details as this will help me in further assisting you.
