Hi @HollyH285,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer is not appearing in the printer queue or system tray (upward arrow on the Windows taskbar), it typically means the printer is either not installed correctly or your computer isn’t detecting it. Let’s walk through the steps to get your printer recognized and properly installed on your Windows 11 system:
Step 1: Check Physical and Network Connections
- For USB: Ensure the cable is securely connected and try a different USB port.
- For Wi-Fi:
- Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
- On the printer, go to Settings > Network > Wireless Status to confirm the connection.
Step 2: Restart Devices
- Turn off your printer and unplug it.
- Restart your PC.
- Plug the printer back in and power it on.
Step 3: Add the Printer Manually
- Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click Add a printer or scanner.
- Wait a few moments. If your printer appears, select it and follow the prompts.
- If it doesn’t show, click “The printer that I want isn’t listed”, and follow the wizard to add it manually by IP address or other options.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
