Hey @Lajen,

You are going to need to return the system back to Windows 7 using your Media disks. Have everything working then upgrade to Windows 10.

Thanks.

Hi @Lajen,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums!

I understand from your posts that you are having an issue with your HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and issues with the Wireless. Some say you could restore the BIOS to factory defaults help with this. It will restore the Defaults and reset the Wireless. Here is a document that will help you.

Here a guide to fixing the Wireless, if you need it.

Please get back to me how this goes.

Hey Lajen,

Thanks for the pic, Try to uninstall both that are listed in the Network Adapters.

Then restart the Notebook. Could you send me a shot after you have done without installing anything.

Thanks.

Hey @Lajen,

Try this one sp48591.exe and sp46504.exe

You could  try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix any updates that have not come through for Windows.  Please restart the Notebook twice to make sure all update have been completed!

Let me know.

Thanks.
