I have a HP 17-by0053od Computer. I replaced the DD with a 970EVO PLUS 2tb ssd some time ago. I would like to get full use of my Fiber Optic source now. What can be used to replace the factory original bt/wifi card in it now?
The part number being used is a HP P/N 915619-002.
Thanks

Your notebook only comes with one Wi-Fi antenna wire, so the only card you can upgrade to where both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work without installing a second antenna wire is this one:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

You're very welcome.
If the extensive disassembly work required to properly install a second antenna wire isn't a problem for you, then this card should work:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005.
You might even be able to install the Wi-Fi 6E card:
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS # M27269-005.
The dual antenna kit part number can be found in chapter 3 page 22 of the service manual.
HP 17 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide
Dual antennas HP part # L22497-001
You would just need to install the auxiliary antenna wire I assume, since the wire for the main antenna connection is already installed.
HP does have the dual antenna kit in stock, but it is pretty expensive at $49.13, so you may want to see if you can find the kit on eBay, Amazon or another PC parts store.

Prices vary and all the Jargon on the most recent suggested upgrades do not line up the Ducks for me but Amazons Prime price at: $42.60 and a Ebay hit at $17.99 and a dollar shipping charge I need to look at differences in all the darn numbers on them, which do not duplicate, if it's the same as or correct or not?
i have no apprehension in running another Antenna wire. I just replaced the keyboard and bottom, moving the motherboard etc, another volunteer ruined fastening points on them lacking logic in a mechanical world.
I lack the ability to compare these silicone world things that look alike and beg a guidance to decide in my retirement years at 76yrs, a Pin point suggestion on Amazon, Ebay would be quite helpful.
I continue to be grateful in your guidance in this.

Sorry,
My apologies
I was referring to the particular Bluetooth/WIFI adapter specifically in particular identification on a couple of major sites selling ones and trying to avoid mistakenly choosing what appear to be alike but all the numeric ID shown get confusing . On Amazon at $37 something and on eBay $18 or so. I have no idea of the qualifying specifics given all the data to consume. The antenna issue can be resolved easy enough.

Hi:
You have to look for a Wi-Fi card that has the HP part number/SPS number I posted on the label.
The key factor is to purchase the non-vPro version of the card because the vPro versions will not work in HP consumer class notebooks.
Only the higher end business notebook's support the Intel vPro technology.
AX200:
Amazon: This is the least expensive one I could find that has the L35282-005 SPS number showing on the label.
That denotes non-vPro.
Ebay:
L35282-005 Hp Wireless Lan Card M.2 Intel Ax200 Ww Precision 5540 "GRADE A" | eBay
AX210: These are the least expensive cards I could find where I saw the M27269-005 SPS # on the label.
Amazon:
eBay:
HP Omen 17-ck000 Intel WiFi 6E AX201NGW M.2 WiFi Bluetooth 5.2 Card M27269-005 | eBay
The key is to make sure you buy a card where you actually see those SPS #'s on the Intel label.
