Hi, George:

Yes, that is the correct SPS number for the Intel AX210 wifi 6E card.

Is this the same Intel card on this other site? https://www.compupartsolutions.com/m27269-005

Great low price isn't it? That's  what created my suspicion of it being a lesser capability card than other higher priced ones.

Thank You Again

You're very welcome.

Yes, that was an excellent price for a new card.

You might find a used one for that price but not a new one.

Now that I am beyond card issue and have one ordered, the Antenna focus is next.  Why would i not be able to add another single antenna run physically? Unless there is a downside to not using a Dually kit? Provided I can find a single for 1/2 the price of a duel kit.

In considering all this, I wonder if just a  provided a minimum to max known length of the little snake and assuming many may interchange connector wise if the lengths are in a range window?

Thanks,

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with the antenna installation or any information other than what I have already provided.

I do not know the lengths of the antenna wires.

I don't know how large the transceivers are that are located at the other end of the antenna wire.

You may be able to jury rig something using a generic M.2 Wi-Fi card antenna wire, but you have to make sure that the transceiver or any other metal parts of the antenna don't make contact with the motherboard if it won't go exactly where it is supposed to go as shown in chapter 6 page 72 of the service manual.

It's not a project that I am at all familiar with, and I would personally never consider doing it myself.

I recommend you start a new discussion on installing another antenna wire in your notebook.

I had to bite the bullet to get Dual Antenna, what a Markup!! Getter Done motto, I suppose for two wires! i am from the old Heath Kits, Crystal Radio era. No power needed and clip it to the metal bed frame for reception, stuff it in the pillow and listen to broadcasts, to sleep by. Parents unaware.

The speaking through 2 empty canned veggie using a nail to punch the hole in the bottom center with a couple buttons tied to each end of a long, long taunt fishing line was modern science taught in middle school. Along with Cursive Penmanship and multiplication tables memorized to 12 x 12. before jr high.

What happened? It is all scribbling of one's own name.

I ordered my card on the 7th, a week later the antenna. I received my antenna yesterday and have yet to get the card, but it is the mail now and saturday i(7/13) s the projected delivery date.

Good luck with the project.

Yes, I remember those days of making a crystal radio with the kit, erector sets and chemistry sets.

Going to the hardware store with my dad to test TV and radio tubes.

What fun!
