HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My spectre x360 has recently developed an intermittent internet connectivity issue. It is generally failing to connect to the internet, only working occasionally.

The wifi status is shown as connected.

I have tried updating and rolling the wireless network adapter driver (intel AC 9560)

I can connect to the internet with my phone (I'm writing this on my phone) with mobile data turned off.

I can connect to the router (192.168.1.254) with my phone, but not with my laptop. To me, this indicates a wireless network adapter issue.

I have had the laptop for 6 weeks, and this problem has only started in the last 2 days - maybe coinciding with a Windows update come to think of it.

Any tips?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Where is the official support? HP support really is terrible.

Why is a machine that costs significantly more than £1000 causing me so many issues? It's getting returned and I'm making sure never to buy a product associated with HP again.
