Hi Gagan93,

I understand you are having issues with the limited WIFI connectivity in Windows 8.1. Did you have this issue in Windows 8?

What happens if you uninstall the WIFI adapter and restart the computer?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

I just got a new laptop today. I am having this exact same problem. It is so frustrating to have my new laptop have connction issues that my old laptop did not.  I tried both drivers that were posted. It worked better for a while then went back to limited.

I really want to fix this. It is driving me crazy.

I have a HP Pavilion TS 15 Notebook PC that came with Win8. Within the 1st month, I was encouraged by HP to update to Win8.1.

While of Win8, wifi connectivity was never an issue. However, after upgrading to Win8.1 becase HP advised I needed to, my WiFi connection will disconnect 3-7 times a day.

Suggestions?

Perfect!. Thanks MandarB !.

I've looking for a solution for almost 2 months. (Win 8.1 x64 HP ProoBook 6560b)

I've several  WiFi clients that worked with no problem, just my HP Laptop didn't work (Limited connection).

I found a workaround that I used till today. (if can help someone). It was to downgrade my WiFi router security from WPA2 AES to WPA2 TKIP.  Than worked but not in 802.11n mode (just 54Mb). With your driver solution I get again 802.1n mode and not "limited connection" issues

I am also experiencing the same issue with limited connectivity. This happened since a windows update recently within the last week. Using Win7 drivers does not work for me. This issue occured last year when i first moved to win 8.1. Now using the Win7 drivers is no longer working. This is a hack anyway. When will this issue be properly fixed? I am facing a full OS reinstall and have spent 4-5 hours troubleshooting with no success.
