Lost wifi connection between apple laptop and hp envy 4504 printer blue light on printer flashing

Lap will not show printer connection but will show other close by connections hence I think the problem is with the printer please confirm or and advise fix thanks

I understand your HP Envy 4504 printer’s Wi-Fi light is flashing and your Apple laptop is not detecting the printer. Let’s go through some steps to confirm the issue and get the connection restored.

Check Printer Wireless Status

A flashing blue light means the printer is not connected to Wi-Fi.

The light should stay solid blue when the printer is properly connected.

Restart Devices

Turn off the printer and unplug it for 30 seconds, then power it back on.

Restart your Apple laptop and Wi-Fi router.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi

On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the light starts flashing.

Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router to allow the printer to connect.

Wait until the blue light on the printer stops flashing and turns solid.

Check Network on Laptop

Make sure your laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.

Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and check if your printer shows up.

Add Printer Manually (if needed)

If it does not appear automatically, click the “+” button to add a printer.

Select your HP Envy 4504 from the list and complete the setup.

Use HP Easy Start / HP Smart App

If the printer still doesn’t connect, download HP Easy Start (Mac) or HP Smart app.

Follow the guided setup to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

If Still Flashing

Perform a network reset on the printer: press and hold the Wireless + Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.

Re-run the Wi-Fi setup using WPS or the HP Smart app.
