Okay, so I went ahead and downloaded all the available Windows Updates for me again after reading CherylG's post and the other thread. Bluetooth broken again after. I did notice that it installed the Intel Bluetooth driver version 20.20.0.5 dated 12/5/2017. I'm guessing this is what broke my bluetooth. And there's really no way for me to uninstall it. You can only uninstall Updates and not Drivers from the Windows Update interface it seems.

So I decided to manually download the Intel Bluetooth Drivers at,

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27493/Wireless-Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-for-Windows-10?pro...

I downloaded the 64-bit version, the latest being 20.30.0. Strange that it didn't have 20.20.0.5 listed as a previous version. I had to save the file first, running it from the browser did not initiate the install. It asked me if I want to upgrade from 19.00.1621, which is strange since Windows Update installed the 20.20.0.5 version. I clicked yes and now I have my bluetooth back.

Hope this works also for others having this problem. My Spectre X360 is model 13-w0XX like the OP for those wondering.

Good luck!

Sadly, it didn't work for me 😞

*edit:

I uninstalled old drivers, removed the device, ran regedit and deleted everything related to Bluetooth. Did clean 20.30.0 version installation. Now, the Bluetooth is back but I can't connect any of my devices. It gets always stuck at "connecting/couldn't connect". I've tried multiple devices and they all work fine on my other laptop/phone/tablet.

Honestly, f*** MS. They always release a patch to a patch and it never fixes anything, only screw things that worked fine before. Three nights wasted trying to get Bluetooth working again and still no luck.

Just had a look at the driver updates for my Bluetooth. Mine says:

Intel Corporation - Bluetooth - 12/05/2017 12:00:00 AM - 20.20.0.5

Successfully installed on 10/02/2018

So... I have the latest Bluetooth but.... its not coming up the notifications and when I try to troubleshoot I get this.

"Bluetooth is not available on this device. Please try using an external adapter to add Bluetooth capability to this computer."

And I also get:

Check bluetooth capability as a proplem detected.

😞

EDIT: Question - when you reinstalled the working bluetooth did you have to uninstall anything first?

Bluetooth is back ON but I can't connect any of my devices. This is so frustrating...

Hello,

Here is what I did to solve this issue:

0) I first rebooted my computer and with F10 entered the BIOS. I reset the BIOS to standard settings with F9 just to start from fresh. And then F10 to quit and save.

Then:

1) Open File Explorer and right-click on "This PC". Select "Manage" to open the computer management.

2) In computer management, select device manager

3) Look under "Bluetooth" for the bluetooth device not properly working. It should be with a bluetooth icon covered with a yellow exclamation mark

4) Right-click on the bluetooth device and select "Update driver"

5) Select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

6) Select version 19.60.0.3 from April 2017

7) Click Next

All bluetooth devices reappeared at once.

I hope this will help you.

Why are you guys installing 20.20.0.5? Install 20.30.0 from the Intel site that I linked.

That was a typo, I did install 20.30.0 but it's still not working.

Sorry man. I detailed everything I did so your problem may be slightly different. I didn't do any Regedits. I'm guessing you did the 20.30.0 install, but it didn't work, then did the Regedits and reinstalled. If so, then I don't have any ideas. If not, then maybe you messed something up with the Regedits.

Did regedit after everything else failed. As mentioned above, I can finally see Bluetooth being ON but I can't connect a single thing.

When you go to Settings, Devices, Bluetooth, does it show your paired devices?
