@SomeGuyOverHere, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 is successfully connecting to your home network but isn't receiving any Wi-Fi, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi is enabled on your laptop. You can usually enable it from the taskbar or Network & Internet settings in Windows.

Restart Your Devices:

  • Turn off your router and your laptop. Wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Update Drivers:

  • Check and update your Wi-Fi drivers. Go to the Device Manager, find your network adapter under "Network adapters," right-click, and select "Update driver." You can also use HP Support Assistant to automatically find and install updates.

Run Windows Troubleshooter:

  • Use the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter to diagnose and fix common network issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, select "Internet Connections," and run the troubleshooter.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure that there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices near your laptop that might interfere with the Wi-Fi signal. Devices like microwaves, cordless phones, or Bluetooth devices can disrupt Wi-Fi signals.

Check Network Configuration:

  • Verify that your laptop is set to obtain an IP address automatically. Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter, select Properties, then TCP/IPv4, and ensure it is set to obtain an IP address automatically.

Forget and Reconnect to the Network:

  • Forget your current home network and reconnect to it. Go to Wi-Fi settings, select your network, and click "Forget." Then, reconnect by entering the password.

Reset Network Settings:

  • As a last resort, you can reset network settings to default. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status, and select "Network reset."

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
