Pavillon dv6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone

I freshly reinstalled Windows 10 x64 on my pavillon DV6 and I don't have bluetooth anymore.

It used to work on the same OS (after an update from Windows 7 to 10).

I can't see the bluetooth card in the device manager, but I can see an "Unknown Device", which I guess is the bluetooth (nothing else seems to be missing)

Hi:

You need this driver for the PCI Simple Comms Controller:

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52795.exe

You need this driver for the unknown device...

This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped or is abruptly impacted by another object.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64144.exe

Unfortunately, the Bluetooth adapter your PC has is not supported for Windows 10.

You will either have to do without, or purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter.
