Product: HP Folio 1040 g3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My HP Folio 1040G3 Ethernet port connects to my network which detect it as 1Gbps but does not connects to the internet. But when i connect it to another ethernet port with is 100Mbps, i have internet connection. any idea on how this can be resolved.

Could be the cable. Please use CAT5e or CAT6 LAN cable and set ports as Auto negotiate. The following guide is for an older OS but should be very close to Windows 10
