Having the same issue. I have a HP Pavilion laptop. WIFI drops whule on battery power.

I'm having the same problem. I have a HP G61 with Windows 10 home. If you send me an email I can reply with the serial number to help a little more. Power is maximized, drivers are updated; when I turn on WiFi I select find networks and the new window says wifi off.....it will not even turn on. I've done everything you have already suggested as well as maximize the computers performance in case that could help. Please help me!😘
