Solved: Noteboook doesn't find wlan anymore - HP Support Community

Hi,

the Notebook worked well. But now it doesn'f find the WiFi-Adapter any longer. The connection via Ethernet cable is ok. But if it is not connected, no network adapter is found. Windows could not solve the problem.

Thank you Lil_Boy_Blue!

I opened the device manager and selected "WLAN Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter".

In "General" it shows me the device status:

The device could not be startet. (Code 10)

{Process failed}

The process could not be performed.

Now, I set the BIOS settings to the factory defaults and now it works.

Hi

Copy, Paste and Save in Notepad, as LBB.bat (not a .TXT) and double click to run.
Preferably run as an Administrator.
OR
Copy and use the individual command lines as needed.

Post anything non-personal, but relevant please.
