Omnibook Ultra Wifi 7 upgrade 320mhz

Hi,

I recently purchased an Omnibook Ultra 14.

I would like to upgrade the existing mediatek 160mhz wifi 7 to a 320mhz wifi 7 adaptor.

Does anybody know if the Qualcomm QCNCM865 WiFi 7 works with this model?

Or should I go with the Mediatek MT7927? Is it availble in UK or from HP?

Thanks looking forward to suggestions and which is better ?

I’m sorry you’re going through this; I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.

Both the Qualcomm QCNCM865 and MediaTek MT7927 are emerging Wi‑Fi 7 adapters, but compatibility with the HP Omnibook Ultra 14 depends on whether your laptop’s M.2 slot supports CNVi/PCIe Wi‑Fi cards. The Qualcomm QCNCM865 has been successfully used in AMD‑based laptops, while the MediaTek MT7927 is newer and not yet widely available in the UK or directly from HP. But HP does not officially list either as supported upgrades.
