My HP Pavilion suddenly stopped connecting to any WiFi networks, nor was able to identify others in scan. Upon troubleshooting my HP Pavilion it identified the problem as: "Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adaptor is experiencing driver - or hardware-related problems". I've seen that many have had the same issues and already attempting the following steps:
- Restarting my Laptop
- Uninstalling and then reinstalling the adaptor using device manager.
- Completely Restarting the laptop and windows 10 back to factory settings
- Scanning and installing updates on the HP support page
- Turning the device off and using the F10 and F9 keys to reset settings
Although there were fixes they were merely temporary, since within 15 minutes connectivity dropped and I was unable to use WiFi again. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
That is a very problematic model wifi adapter as you may have found out.
The only suggestion I can offer, if you have not done so already, would be to update the wifi driver to the latest version, which is newer than the one on your notebook's support page...
