Hey there. I'm stuck with a problem: I can't install driver for bluetooth properly.
I have my bluetooth speakers which works properly with Bluesoleil on my Windows 7 x64 before I reinstall it recently. Now I can't find driver for bluetooth. Drivers Ralink Bluetooth Suite in this site in driver list of my notebook model are installed without any problems and my speakers connecting to notebook as is should. But there is no sound. I select my bluetooth speakers as primary device in Sound Settings. I can see how the equalizer twitches in the mixer while playing music, but sound doesn't escape my notebook.
I tried everything: Bluesoleil of any versions, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, Atheros Qalcomm (with this driver I can hear audio, but it's interupted very hard and load my CPU for 50%), WIDCCOM driver - it just doesn't work.
On my previous OS i installed Bluesoleil and it works fine, but i don't remember how i do this 🙂
Please help me, I dunno what else I can do.
P.S.: sorry for my English, I'm from Belarus and it's now my native language 🙂

Hey there! @Mint_BY, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!
I understand you have Bluetooth issues with your laptop.
Don't worry I'd love to help you out.
Did you downgrade the operating system on your PC?
I have checked the specifications of your PC and the unit was shipped with windows 8 Since you have downgraded the operating system the drivers might not function correctly.
You can uninstall the Bluetooth driver from device manager.
Download and install HP support assistant on your PC it will find the best and latest drivers for your PC.
Refer this article to know how to use HP support assistant.
Let me know how it goes!
Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂

Well no, I didn't downgrade my OS. I did bought this laptop from retail and it was with pre-installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. And with this OS laptop function properly.
And yes, I tried to use HP support assistant but this programm doesn't find any drivers for installing. I uninstalled all bluetooth drivers before this of course.

Hi @Mint_BY, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @A4Apollo, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps.
If you are unable to uninstall the driver from device manager.
Please create a new user account on the computer with administrator priveledges. Click here for assistance.
Log in to the new account and try to uninstall the driver.
Please delete the driver when prompted during uninstall.
Restart the computer and install the driver from the link provided earlier.
Keep me posted.

Thanks for the reply and providing more information. Bluetooth and wireless adapter are on the same card.
After you uninstall both the drivers from device manager (make sure you delete the driver when prompted during uninstall.)
Restart the computer. When you restart the computer a generic driver would be installed.
Open device manager again and delete it as well and then install the new driver.
If you are unable to install the new driver suggested.
Please create a new user account on the computer and try to install the new driver.
Please try installing it on a new user account on the computer and check.
If the issue persists, you would need to do a recovery on the computer after backing up your data.
Keep me posted.

Sorry for this delay
I have successfuly unistalled all bluetooth drivers. I just delete any IVT Corporation files from drivers folder in Windows/system32. After that I restart my PC, dleted generic drivers from device manager and try to install your driver. It's still show me an error but some bluesoleil and it's drivers have installed on PC after all. I restart my PC again, try to start bluesoleil from Program Files x86/Ralink Bluetooth Suite. It starts and even connecting with my speakers but still there is no sound.
P.S.: If I try to pair bluesoleil with my cell phone it works fine. I can download and upload any files. But problem with wireless speakers is there.
P.P.S.: I try to pair my cell phone with this speakers and it's work fine too. No interruption and clear sound.

@Mint_BY, It's great to hear from you again. I was indeed waiting for your response.
I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.
As you mentioned even after uninstalling the drivers on your PC and when you install the drivers you are getting error BlueSoleil and it's drivers have installed on PC.
Please try the steps recommended below.
Open the start menu, input regedit, open the registry.
Find the registry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ IVT Corporation, right-click the IVT Corporation, then choose delete.( Windows 7 64 - bit systems, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SoftWare \ Wow6432Node \ IVT Corporation, right-click IVT Corporation, then choose to delete)
Delete the whole items of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ BSAddins (if you can’t find it, you can ignore it)
4. Delete the subitems of BlueSoleil in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Installer \ Products \ (if you can’t find it, you can ignore it)
Delete the subitems of BlueSoleil in HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Installer \ Products \ (if you can’t find it, you can ignore it)
Delete the residues of the registries, then you can reinstall successfully.
Let me know how it goes!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
