Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter not connecting to wifi

Hi

i got the same problem in HP250  G1 Laptop

Because this Model does not  support windows 10

i download the same driver from hp support center for Win8 64bit   (in you have win10 32bit download the driver for 32bit ver)

(802.11 b/g/n Ralink)

install and restart

now the proble solved

Thank you Nkboy so much for this, I tried everything from network updates to both the laptop wifi adapter and Wifi router but this channel change in router settings you suggested solved the problem! I changed my Wifi routers channel setting from auto to channel 7 and now my HP laptop finds the Wifi and finally connects to it properly. Clearly this Ralink RT3290 Wifi Adapter (garbage) has issues with channels 2, 5, 12, 13.
